Trip Plan

Day 01 Delhi (Arrival)
Arrive Delhi. Meet and assistance at the airport and transfer to hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 02 Delhi – Bhopal- Satpura
Early morning transfer to the airport to flight Jet Connect departure at 0620 hrs for Bhopal. Arrive Bhopal at 0800 hrs. Meet and assistance on arrival and transfer to Denwa Backwater Escape, Satpura National Park (04 hours) visiting the rock shelters and caves of Bhimbetka enroute.. Check in at the lodge. Lunch. Day free to enjoy the resort. Overnight at Denwa backwater Escape

Day 03 Walking safari
After breakfast you will drive 2 hours to reach the starting point of Walking Safari. Start your 3 hours trek down hill through lovely Sal forest inside Satpura National Park to reach Village Kanjighat for a hot lunch. After lunch trek further 2 hours to reach Camp Bandhan Retire at camp Bandhan for over night stay. Bandhan is a small forest patrolling camp located deep in the Satpura Jungles, this camp is on the edge of a stream.

Day 04 Walking safari
Start full day walking to next camp through Satpura National Park. Today will be a picnic packed lunch at Jhela Village about 3 hours away. After lunch walk another 3 hours to Camp Manakachar.

Day 05 Walking safari
Full day walking to Denwa Darshan. Lunch will be served hot on this day. Overnight stay at Camp Manakachar

Day 06 Walking safari- Denwa Lodge Satpura
After breakfast at your camp you will start 02 hours walk to the road head to be met by waiting vehicles and drive 2 hours Denwa Back Water Escape. Lunch at the Lodge. Evening enjoy the boat trip on river Denwa. Dinner and overnight stay at Denwa Backwater Escape.

Day 07 Satpura—Kanha
Morning elephant safari in Satpura national Park. Breakfast at the lodge and drive to Kanha (435 kms/ 8 hrs) Arrive Kanha and check in at the resort. Dinner and overnight at Kanha.

Day 08 Kanha
Breakfast at the resort. Day free till lunch. After lunch go for jeep safari in kanha National Park. Back to the resort. Dinner and over night at the resort.

Day 09 Kanha
An early morning jeep safari to Kanha National Park. Back to the resort. Relax. Lunch. After lunch go for another safari. Back to the resort. Dinner and over night at the resort

Day 10 Kanha- Bandhavgarh
After early breakfast visit the Gond village. After lunch drive to Bandhavgarh (6 hrs). Arrive Bandhavgarh for and check in at the resort. Dinner and over night at the resort.

Day 11 Bandhavgarh
Early morning enjoy jeep safari to Bandhavgarh National park. Back to the resort. Breakfast. Day free till lunch. After lunch another safari to the park. Dinner and over night at the resort.

Day 12 Bandhavgarh
Early morning enjoy jeep safari to Bandhavgarh National park. Back to the resort. Breakfast. Day free till lunch. After lunch another safari to the park. Dinner and over night at the resort

Day 13 Bandhavgarh- Jabalpur-Delhi
Relaxed breakfast at the resort. After lunch drive to Jabalpur airport (180 kms/ 3 hrs) to board flight departure at 1830 hrs for Delhi. Arrive Delhi at 2005 hrs. Transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 14 Delhi
Morning walking tour of old Delhi. Post lunch sightseeing of Humayun's Tomb, Qutub Minar & Lotus Temple. Back to the hotel. Over night at the hotel.

Day 15 Delhi

Important points

  1. Moderate fitness level is required, walks are about 5-7 hours daily with 2-3 breaks. Walks involve going down hill and moderate climbing also.
  2. There is no electricity at camps, we provide lanterns and flash lights.
  3. Every tent is provided with shower tent with hot showers by bags in evening and dry pit toilets.
  4. Fresh Indian meals are served in camps.
  5. There is no phone connectivity at camps.
  6. There is no laundry service at the mobile camps.

National Parks of Central India

The land of diversity offers great avenues for tours. The variety of wildlife and their diversity of habitat types in India are unmatched in the world. Explore the wild jungles and forests of Satpura, Bandhavgarh and Kanha.

Satpura National Park is located in district Hoshangabad of Madhya Pradesh in India. It gets the name from Satpura hill ranges (Mahadeo hills). It covers an area of 524 km2 (202 sq mi). Satpura National Park, and along with the adjoining Bori and Panchmarhi Sanctuaries, provides 1,427 km2 (551 sq mi) of unique Central Indian Highland ecosystem. The terrain of the national park is extremely rugged and consists of sandstone peaks, narrow gorges, ravines and dense forests. The altitude ranges from 300 to 1,352 metres (980 to 4,436 ft). It has Dhoopgarh peak as high as 1,400 metres (4,600 ft) and the almost level plains of Churna.Satpura National Park, being part of a unique ecosystem, is very rich in biodiversity.

Bandhavgarh is set amidst the Vindhyan Mountain range in Madhya Pradesh. The Bandhavgarh National Park is home to the famous White Tigers of Rewa. Within the Park, stands tall the ruins of Bandhavgarh Fort, believed to be over 2000 years old. The Fort has a large number of caves belonging to the pre-historic period. Today, Bandhavgarh Wildlife Sanctuary is known for having one of the densest populations of Tigers in the country. Among the other wild attractions include Nilgai, Chital, Chinkara, Gaur, Sloth Bears and Wild Boar along with some 250 species of birds.

Kanha National Park is in the Mandla and Betalghat districts of Madhya Pradesh. The park has a significant population of Royal Bengal Tiger, leopards, the sloth bear, Barasinga and Indian wild dog. The lush sal and bamboo forests, grassy meadows and ravines of Kanha provided inspiration to Rudyard Kipling for his famous novel "Jungle Book "
